About
The Audit and Standards Committee was responsible for overseeing the council's financial management, risk, and ethical conduct. It reviewed internal and external audit reports, statutory finance reporting, and the regulatory framework. The committee also considered matters related to councillors' conduct, including reviewing complaints and overseeing Ombudsman investigations. This committee was replaced on 31 August 2024 by separate Audit and Standards Committees.
