Decision
Salford City Council - Record of Decision
I Councillor Jack Youd, Deputy City Mayor and Lead Member for Finance, Support Services and Regeneration, in exercise of the powers contained within the City Council Constitution, and following consultation with Cabinet Members at the Property/Regeneration Briefing, do hereby:
- Notes the funding secured by the Council from the Greater Manchester Combined Authority (GMCA) and Homes England to support future development across the Crescent area;
- Notes the TfGM funding secured by the Council from the recently completed City Region Sustainable Transport Settlement Reprioritisation Strategy;
- Approves the Council entering into the necessary Funding Agreements with the Greater Manchester Combined Authority, Homes England and TfGM in order to draw down the above funds;
- Approves variations reflecting increased grant awards to the existing development and grant funding agreements in place between Salford City Council and English Cities Fund via deeds of variation, or new agreements as required; and
- Provides delegated authority to the Executive Director, Place, City Solicitor and Chief Finance Officer to finalise all contractual, financial and legal arrangements in respect of the draw down of the above funding.
