Salford City Council - Record of Decision (Cabinet)

I Councillor Jack Youd, Deputy City Mayor, in exercise of the powers contained within the City Council Constitution do hereby approve the recommendations to:

  1. Approve the net reduction to the capital programme of £5.412m.
  2. Approve the reprofiles into 2026/27 of £12.234m.
  3. Note actual spend to the end of Quarter 3 of £55.553m and the revised forecast of £96.004m.

The Reasons are:

·         The approved programme as per the 2025/26 Council budget was £99.818m, with general unsupported borrowing forecasted to be £27.396m.

·         The Quarter 3 position reports a revised capital programme of £96.004m for This reflects net programme reductions of £5.412m and reprofiling of £12.234m into 2026/27.

·         The actual spend to the end of Quarter 3 is £55.553m.
