The purpose of this award will appoint
the Preferred Contractor and the award of the above mentioned PCSA
contract. Further reports will come forward following PCSA stage
and further detailed design to confirm any award of the full
construction contract to the Preferred Bidder. Further Assessment
of the value for Money of a final contracts sum will occur during
this process.
Assessment of Risk – medium
This appointment is the next
stage to progress the City Councils affordable Housing ambitions.
Should this selection not proceed or is delay it will significantly
delay the delivery programme. It will also risk funding secured to
support the schemes viability, Brownfield Land release
Fund.
