TITLE: SURRENDER OF LEASE
- 2ND FLOOR, 1 NEW
BAILEY
I,
Councillor Kelly, Deputy City Mayor, in exercise of the powers
contained within the Salford City Council’s constitution do
hereby:

Approve the acceptance of the fitout and the agreed
sum in full and final settlement of the existing tenant’s
liabilities for the 2nd floor at 1 New
Bailey.

Approve the sum is to be held to facilitate any
works required to 1 New Bailey to enable the vacant space within
the building to be relet.
3
Delegate authority to the Executive Director Place
in conjunction with the S151 officer to: negotiate, agree, and
finalise the detailed terms of the
transaction.
4
Authorise the Shared Legal Service to prepare all
necessary documentation and to take all steps which are required to
give effect to the above recommendations.
The Reasons are the above
approvals allow for the existing the tenant to surrender the lease
early, before the official break date 29th September
2023
