The Reasons are:

ADT  successfully carried out fit out works on 100 Embankment: Another grade A office building within the Council’s portfolio to which they received significant recognition in the industry for their fit out works on the first and second floor, including numerous awards such as the Architizer A+ Award for Best Remote Work and Co-Working Space for 2024.

Their experience makes them ideally suited to deliver the reception reconfiguration at Two New Bailey as their proven track record provides the Council with a high degree of confidence in the contractor’s ability to deliver the required works efficiently and to the expected standard of a Grade A office building in Manchester and Central Salford. Additionally, it is within the Council’s best interest that a direct award is granted as it enables continuity of approach and reduces delivery risk by appointing a contractor already familiar with the Council’s standards, governance requirements, health and safety expectations, and reporting processes.
