Shropshire Council's Cabinet noted the contents of the Local Government and Social Care Ombudsman report on 05 August 2026. The Cabinet approved the Ombudsman's recommendations. The Council will provide a written apology to the family, make a payment of £3,000, and review its Armed Forces Covenant Action Plan to implement changes to SEND procedures.
