About

The Cabinet Committee is responsible for overseeing the Council's asset disposal programme and making recommendations or decisions on property sales. It also reviews the performance and governance of companies owned by the Authority, approving shareholder agreements and directing the Council's shareholder representative. The committee can decide to internalise, close, or sell council companies if they are not to continue in their current form. This committee operates under a statutory direction from the DLUHC.
