About

The Corporate Improvement Scrutiny Committee (CISC) scrutinises policy, financial, and performance matters to support the Council's recovery and improvement programme. It reviews the implementation of community and corporate performance plans, investigates broad policy issues, and examines decisions made by the Cabinet or Chief Officers. The committee also coordinates 'member call-ins' and establishes task and finish groups for in-depth investigations, making reports and recommendations to the Cabinet or full Council.
