About

The CPH Children and Education Decision Session is responsible for a range of statutory functions concerning children's services and education in Solihull. It oversees the Children's Services Improvement Plan and works with the Children's Commissioner on early help and prevention. The committee handles strategic and individual commissioning for education and children's social care, including safeguarding, children looked after, disabilities, and adoption/fostering. It also provides strategic oversight of education, covering school improvement, funding, special educational needs, vulnerable children, early years, and transport. The committee acts as the Lead Member for Corporate Parenting.
