About

The CPH Climate Change & Planning Decision Session is responsible for developing and overseeing strategies related to climate change and managing all town and country planning functions for Solihull. This includes areas such as the Net Zero strategy, energy, air quality, landscape, biodiversity, and low emission vehicle infrastructure. The committee also handles local development plans, development management, neighbourhood planning, building control, and broadband strategy for new developments. Its remit covers executive functions for planning and strategic climate change initiatives.
