About

The Overview and Scrutiny Management Committee oversees Southampton City Council's scrutiny process. It agrees the programme of scrutiny investigations, monitors performance and budgets, and reviews actions of the Safe City Partnership. The committee also examines items in the council's Forward Plan and has the authority to 'call-in' executive decisions for further review.
