About
The Cabinet (Housing) Committee is responsible for overseeing and making decisions on all housing matters within Stockport Borough. It ensures the Council's strategic direction for housing is aligned and addresses key issues. The committee oversees the delivery of housing services, including the management and maintenance of council housing stock, and ensures compliance with relevant housing legislation. It monitors housing performance and service delivery, and has delegated authority to discharge all Cabinet functions related to housing, including decisions reserved under the Management Agreement with SHG.
