Decision

The Cabinet has considered a report providing an analysis of the current operation of the Council Meeting, highlighting areas of current pressure within the meeting, and options to mitigate against that whilst ensuring that appropriate levels of democratic accountability are retained, and has agreed to recommend that the Council Meeting approves and adopts the proposed schedule of amendments to the Council Meeting Procedure Rules detailed in Section 13 of the report.
