Purpose

Surrey
County Council (SCC) is looking for a consultancy partner with deep expertise
and experience of the social care sector, in addition to key
adjacent services that interact in safeguarding children and young
people (including Health, SEND & Adult Social Services), to
undertake a diagnostic in relation to Surrey children’s
social care, to understand whether there are opportunities to
deliver services better and/or more cost effectively while
continuing to meet children’s needs. The consultancy partner
should bring a robust and accurate diagnostic methodology, with
proven success working on the specific challenges and hypotheses
detailed below with upper-tier county authorities and ability to
mobilise immediately and deliver by 1 April 2024.
