The Cabinet
Member for Children, Families and Lifelong Learning:
1.    
Agreed the allocation of funding from the previously approved SEND
Capital programme to Carrington School, to undertake all
necessary works to create 40 places Specialist Resource Provision
(SRP) and to provide an additional 33 places at Woodfield Education
Centre WEC) on the school site, as set out in the part 2
report.
2.    
Noted that a Funding Agreement (FA) for self-delivery would be
secured with Carrington/the Trust based on agreed feasibility costs
and plans prior to commencement of works. The FA would specify that
the school would source all necessary permissions, prior to the
release of the funds.
3.    
Noted that this project was required for SEND capacity requirements
and that the provision of school places for pupils with special
educational needs and disabilities (SEND) was directly in line with
and contributed toward current DfE policy, statutory requirements and Surrey
County Council Priorities.
4.    
Legal Services to execute the Funding Agreement and any associated
legal agreements.
