As part of the Council’s ‘Right
Homes, Right Support’ transformation programme, the Council
are investing in the development of supported independent living
(SIL) schemes across the county for adults with a learning
disability and/or autism.
Development of the Cobham and Byfleet sites
was approved by cabinet in April 2022:

Approval to procure a care and support
provider for the Cobham and Byfleet SIL schemes was granted by
cabinet via the 2022/2023 Annual Procurement Forward Plan
(Minute Ref 243/21).

at the Cobham and Byfleet SIL schemes to the winning bidder in a
mini-competition run under the Council’s Community
Accomodation with Care and Support Dynamic Purchasing system.

Adult Social Care requires a compliant
contract for the delivery of care and support services at the
Councils new schemes in Cobham and Byfleet when construction is
completed.
 
The award of a Contract for the care and
support to the successful bidder is consistent with the aims of the
Accommodation with Care and Support strategy which was approved by
Cabinet in July 2019.
