As part of the response to and
ongoing review of recommendations from the Grenfell Tower Public
Inquiry, the Cabinet Office released a
consultation in July 2025 on strengthening the requirement for
Category 1 responders to establish and maintain partnerships with
voluntary, community and faith organisations to support resilience
activities. This is the response from Surrey County Council (SCC),
submitted ahead of the closing deadline of 16th
September 2025.
