Purpose
On
4th August 2023 the Government announced that their sponsorship and
funding of the Local Enterprise Partnerships (“LEP”)
would cease from 1st April 2024.
Through a Memorandum of Agreement, Hampshire County Council and
Surrey County Council wish to record the basis on which they have
agreed that Enterprise M3 LEP functions and assets will be
incorporated into each organisation, in line with Government
guidance, how ongoing governance will be undertaken and how the
assets and liabilities will be split.
