About

The Pension Board assists the Administering Authority in managing the Local Government Pension Scheme for Sutton. Its primary role is to ensure the scheme is run effectively and efficiently, and that it complies with all relevant regulations and requirements from the Pensions Regulator.

The Board reviews compliance reports, governance processes, and employer duties. It also helps develop and review key scheme documents, monitors complaints and performance, and advises on dispute resolution and member communications. The Board can make recommendations to the Administering Authority, which must be considered.
