About
The Speakers Panel (Liquor Licensing) is responsible for making decisions on various licences and certificates related to the sale and provision of alcohol and other regulated entertainment within Tameside.
This includes determining, varying, reviewing, and transferring premises licences, as well as personal licences. The panel also handles applications for club premises certificates, provisional statements, and licences for pavement cafes. It has delegated powers under the Licensing Act 2003 to deal with a wide range of specific licensing matters, including those involving police objections and court orders, affecting businesses and individuals involved in the licensed trade.
