About

The Executive is responsible for making most of the council's day-to-day decisions that are not delegated to officers. It is made up of the Leader of the Council and Executive Members responsible for different service areas.

This committee develops policies and strategies, manages council resources within the approved budget, and recommends the council tax level to the full Council. It also reviews matters referred by the Overview & Scrutiny Committee. Key decisions, defined by significant expenditure, savings, or community impact across multiple wards, are published 28 days in advance, with exceptions for urgent matters.
