To accept a
recently sought quotation and enter into
a contract with Dura-Sport Ltd for the purchase of a Non-Turf
Cricket Wicket to be located at Eastcliff Recreation Ground, Fourth Avenue,
Clacton-on-Sea.

Reasons for the decision

The previous
Non-Turf Practice system located at Eastcliff Recreation Ground has become unusable and
is in need of replacement.

Alternative options considered

Not to accept
recently sought quotation with Dura-Sport Ltd.
 
Not purchasing the
Non-Turf practice cricket wicket would
have an impact on the local community and would mean that users of
the Non Turf Cricket Wicket would have to travel to another leisure
centre/cricket club to practice.
