Purpose

Essential that officers from the service have access to the platform to assist with their roles across all disciplines of Environmental Health.

Decision

Subscription paid for the forthcoming year so all officers have access to RIAMS which is a knowledge hub for Environmental Health professionals. It provides access to legislation, notices, case law and associated documents relevant to the legislation enforced by the service.

Alternative options considered

No issues as all LAs have their own access currently.
When the new unitary is formed, there is the potential to have just one subscription across the three authorities that will make up the unitary.
