The Leisure and Public Realm Portfolio Holder and the Partnerships Portfolio Holder decided on 13/10/2026 to allocate £50,000 Sport Strategy Funding and £50,000 from the Public Health Improvement Budget. This collective £100,000 will fund the Active Travel Grant (£20,000), the Club Development Grant & Disability Sport (£30,000), the Early Years Children and Families Grant (£20,000), and Food & Nutrition for Families (£30,000). The decision authorises the Corporate Director (Place and Wellbeing), in consultation with the Portfolio Holder for Leisure and Public Realm, to implement necessary associated arrangements.
