About
The Cabinet, composed of the Council Leader and eight portfolio-holding Councillors, is responsible for making many of the key decisions about how Thurrock Council operates. It must make these decisions within the financial and policy framework established by the full Council. While meetings are generally open to the public, there may be instances where the press and public are asked to leave to discuss sensitive matters.
