The HOSC Working Group – Mental Health Services is a collaborative group for councillors to learn about and consult on mental health service provision in Thurrock, covering NHS, local authority, and voluntary sector services. It examines how these services are governed and overseen, evaluating insights from multi-agency teams focused on early identification and prevention.
The group will also consider community themes and the experiences of service users, working with Healthwatch and voluntary organisations. Its findings will be reported to the Better Care Together Executive and will inform recommendations made to the Health and Overview Scrutiny Committee.
