Purpose
The
report outlines and seeks agreement to the UKSPF programme during
2025/26. Government have awarded
£327,000 of transitional funding to build on the successful
programme delivered by the Council between 2022 and
2025.
Decision
RESOLVED –
That the list of proposed UKSPF projects for the
financial year 2025-26 set out in Appendix A be
approved.
That the use of the TWBC 2025-26 Rural England
Prosperity Fund allocation to continue the West Kent Rural Grants
Programme, working with Sevenoaks District Council and Tonbridge
& Malling Borough Council be approved
That the Head of Economic Development & Property
in liaison with the Cabinet Member for Economic Development and the
Cabinet Member for Housing and Communities be delegated to make any
necessary minor changes to the 2025-26 project list or criteria as
required be approved.
That the Head of Economic Development and Property
in consultation with the Cabinet Member for Economic Development
and the Cabinet Member for Housing and Communities delegate
projects either as:
grants to public or private
organisations
commissioning third party organisations
procurement of service provision
in-house provision, be approved
That the Head of Legal Services be delegated to
complete all legal formalities, agreements, deeds and other
documents as are necessary and/or incidental to the recommendations
be approved.
REASON FOR DECISION: To continue to fund projects that
have been successfully delivered across the borough over the past 2
years of UKSPF funding.
