Purpose

The
report seeks approval to allocate and release £3,467.75 of
S106 planning obligation funding to Brenchley and Matfield Parish
Council towards the reinstatement of the playground entrance to
Porters Wood Playground.

Decision

RESOLVED: That £3,467.75
community facilities and children’s recreation collected
pursuant to the planning agreement in respect of planning
permission 19/01099 Plot 29, 12 Maidstone Road be released to
Brenchley and Matfield Parish Council for use towards the repair of
the playground entrance at Porters Wood Playground, Brenchley be
approved.
 
 

Reasons for the decision

Agreeing the project meets the terms of the agreement and
supports Brenchley and Matfield Parish Council in delivering the
project. 

Alternative options considered

Do
nothing and reject the request to release funds would risk having
to return the S106 funds plus accrued interest to the
developer.
