Purpose

This
report seeks approval to allocate and release £8,142.66 of
Youth and Adult developer contribution £15,917.99 plus
indexation of S106 planning obligation funding towards the supply
and installation of a shelter at Goudhurst village
green. 

Decision

RESOLVED:
 
1.     
That £8,142.66 of the Youth and Adult
developer contribution from the planning agreement in respect of
planning permission 23/00372 Land Adjacent to The Old Parsonage
Goudhurst, be released to Goudhurst Parish Council to be used
towards the supply and installation of a shelter on the village
green at Goudhurst, be approved.
 
2.     
That the Parks and Sports Centre Team be authorised
to approve the release of the remainder of the Youth and Adult
developer contribution collected pursuant to the planning agreement
in respect of planning permission 23/00372 to Goudhurst Parish
Council when it has been received by the Borough Council and the
works to provide the shelter are complete be approved.

Reasons for the decision

To
agree the project would meet the terms of the agreement and support
Goudhurst Parish Council in delivering the project.

Alternative options considered

Do
nothing and reject the request to release the funding.
