Purpose

This
report seeks approval to allocate and then subsequently release up
to £16,612.00 of S106 planning obligation funding towards the
installation of an access control system to the Hawkenbury
Recreation Ground All Weather Pitch.

Decision

RESOLVED: That the Council release up
to £16,612.00 of S106 developer contributions collected
pursuant to planning agreement Hawkenbury Farm DOV 2 (18/01082), to
use the funds for their intended purposes, to improve facilities by
installing an access control system to the recently refurbished
Hawkenbury Recreation Ground All Weather Pitch be
approved. 

Reasons for the decision

To
proceed with the project would complete the enhancements to the All
Weather Pitch at Hawkenbury Recreational Ground.  Undertaking the work now would also mean it would
be completed in time for the start of the new grounds maintenance
contract.

Alternative options considered

Do
nothing and reject the project.
