Purpose

This
report seeks approval to develop a scheme and allocate £1.2m
of Section 106 development that has been collected to fund
improvements to Putlands Leisure.

Decision

RESOLVED –
 

That  a
project to develop and implement a scheme of improvements for
Putlands Sports Centre at Paddock Wood is added to the Capital
Programme be approved.

 

That the Section 106 contributions
totalling £1,223,622.43 set out in Appendix A for Putlands
Sports Centre  be released and allocated
to fund the project to design and implement improvements to the
centre be approved.

 
REASON FOR
DECISION: The improvements would
help deliver the commitment in the Strategic Plan to improve
council leisure facilities.
