Purpose

This
report seeks approval to allocate and release £10,000 of
Section 106 planning obligation funding to start the process to
improve and extend sports pitch provision at Hawkenbury Recreation
Ground.

Decision

RESOLVED:
 

1.     
That £10,000 of developer contributions
pursuant to planning obligations relating to planning permission
16/07023/HYBRID Land at Hawkenbury Farm
(Original Agreement dated 8 May 2017) as amended by 19/02927/FULL
DOV6, 20/01306/FULL DOV8  and planning
permission 12/02892 43 Dudley Road is allocated to fund work to
develop a specification to extend and improve sports pitch
provision at Hawkenbury Recreation
Ground be approved.

 

2.     
That the £10,000 (including indexation) is
released subject to the conditions set out in the S106 agreements
being met in full be approved.

 

Reasons for the decision

To
agree to progress with the initial stage of the project as the
funding is now held by the Council and is considered sufficient
enough to deliver the required works to an acceptable
standard.
