RESOLVED - That a total of
£56,430.39 from contributions secured pursuant to planning
obligations relating to planning permissions TW/17/00245
(Sparshatts Site, Longfield Road) and
TW/14/500619 (Longfield Road) be utilised to install and maintain
lighting on Home Farm Lane between Liptraps Lane and the Knights Wood residential area
including linking to Skinners Kent Academy Primary
School.
Reasons for the decision
To
provide lighting on Home Farm Lane to make the path more attractive
for use by pedestrians and cyclists. The Council has received
specific requests from Knights Wood residents to provide lighting
for the footpath and, in particular, it is utilised as a pedestrian
route to Skinners Kent Academy Primary School. In addition, there
is an existing cycle facility on Longfield Road.
