Purpose

This
report seeks approval to allocate and release £10,000 of S106
planning obligation funding to Cranbrook and Sissinghurst Parish
Council towards the development for Crane Valley Recreation
Area.
 
 

Decision

RESOLVED - 
That £10,000 of Section 106 funding, received from the
planning agreement in respect of planning permission 16/502860/OUT
Brick Kiln Farm, Cranbrook, be released to Cranbrook and
Sissinghurst Parish Council to develop a masterplan for the
improvement of Crane Valley Recreation Area be approved.

Reasons for the decision

To
agree the project meets the terms of the agreement and supports
Cranbrook and Sissinghurst Parish Council in delivering the
project. 

Alternative options considered

Do
nothing and reject the request to release the funding would risk
having to return the S106 plus accrued interest to the
developer.
