Purpose

The
report relates to the Council’s commitment to become carbon
neutral by 2030 and promote and carry out positive actions for the
conservation and enhancement of our local environment.  The Tunbridge Wells Borough Council Plan 2022-24
‘Building a Better Borough’ contains a commitment to
develop a pesticide and herbicide policy.

Decision

RESOLVED - 
That the policy for the reduction in the use of pesticides and
herbicides within the areas managed and maintained by the Parks
department be adopted.
