Purpose

 This report seeks authorisation to establish an Infrastructure Delivery Board (IDB) for the strategic development at Paddock Wood and East Capel.

Decision

 RESOLVED

1. That a Paddock Wood and east Capel Infrastructure Delivery Board be established and supported be approved.
2. That the draft terms of reference set out at Appendix A to the report be approved.
3. That the Portfolio Holder for Planning be appointed as Chair of the Paddock Wood and east Capel Infrastructure Delivery Board be approved.
4. That before the first meeting of the Infrastructure Delivery Board, the Leader appoint borough Councillors to the Board as set out in the Terms of Reference until the date of the Council annual meeting 2027, whereupon they will be eligible for reappointment be approved.

REASON FOR DECISION:    To assist with ongoing stakeholder discussions and improving the delivery of infrastructure and ensure regular communication.
