The Planning Committee Member Briefings are sessions where applicants can present information on large development proposals to all council members, not just those on the Planning Committee. These briefings are open to the public. However, any discussion or information shared during a briefing has no formal standing and does not replace the official decision-making process of the Planning Committee. Members attending must only ask factual questions and cannot express opinions or engage in negotiations regarding the proposals.
