·      
Noted that the political balance of the Council is:
o  
45 members of the Labour Group 
o  
13 members of the Conservative Group
o  
2 ungrouped independent members
 
·      
Noted the committees set out for the municipal year 2024/25
listed in Appendix 1 as agreed at the Annual Council Meeting held
on 23 May 2024.
 
·      
Agreed to vary the proportionality arrangements for scrutiny
committees so that:
o  
The Labour Group appoint 2 fewer seats than its entitlement,
and
o  
The Conservative Group appoint 2 more seats than its
entitlement.
 
·      
Agreed changes to the memberships of committees as set out
below:
o  
Coordinating Scrutiny Committee:
Appoint Councillor Tom Connor in place of Councillor Catherine
Saumarez.
 
o  
Health and Adult Social Care Scrutiny Committee:
Appoint Councillor Anna Mbachu in place of Councillor Tom
Connor.
