Decision

The Sub-Committee considered the application and decided to GRANT the premises licence, with one amendment to the conditions proposed by the applicant, and one recommendation.

That:

1. The licensee shall ensure that a sign is displayed that is clearly legible from outside the premises with contact details both telephone and email for public use to report any complaints directly to the premises. All complaints received will be logged in the incident book and followed up urgently.

Recommendation:

·       That the applicant consult with the Environmental Health team about the possibility of the installation of a sound limiter on the speakers used by the premises.

The Sub-Committee therefore considered this decision to be appropriate for the promotion of the licensing objectives

In accordance with the provisions contained within Schedule 5 to the Licensing Act 2003, the relevant parties have the right of appeal against the decision of the Sub-Committee to Thames Magistrates Court, 58 Bow Road, London E3 4DJ, such an appeal to be made within twenty-one days of notification of the decision letter.
