Decision

The Sub-Committee considered the application and determined to grant the application in full, including the conditions agreed with the licensing team. The Sub-Committee also imposed the following condition:

• That the sale and consumption of alcohol stops within the external areas of the premises at 21:00.

The Sub-Committee also made the following recommendations to the applicant:

• Providing a schedule of projected licensable events to the Almshouses on Vinegar Alley and Church End every month.
• That the number of smokers in the designated area for smokers is limited to 8 people and must be at least 20m from the boundary of any residential property.

The Sub-Committee considered this decision to be appropriate to uphold the licensing objectives.

In accordance with the provisions contained within Schedule 5 to the Licensing Act 2003, the relevant parties have the right of appeal against the decision of the Sub-Committee to Thames Magistrates Court, 58 Bow Road, London E3 4DJ, such an appeal to be made within twenty-one days of notification of this decision.

A written letter outlining the decision and reasons will be sent to all parties within 5 working days.
