Social Care Ombudsman;

noted steps being taken to adress issues raised by
the Ombudsman and to mitigate
against future complaints against the council;
and

(3)         
noted improvement plans for the corporate complaints service
outlined in Appendix 1 of the report.

 

Options & Alternatives Considered

Other alternatives not considered in this case. We
are required by both Ombudsmen to provide a comprehensive response
to issues raised. Failure to respond will result in reputational
damage to the council as well as fines and compensation payments to
