Purpose

That Cabinet recommends to Council the
addition of Section 278 highway improvement works at D1736 School
Lane Jctn with Bowling Green Lane Church Lane to Capital
Programme.

Decision

That Cabinet
 
1.    
Recommends to Council the addition of £3.904 million to the
Capital Programme for 2025/2026 in respect of the D1736 School Lane
Junction with Bowling Green Lane / Church Lane, Exhall highways improvements scheme which will be
funded by the developer; and
 
2.    
Authorises, subject to the approval of Council for the addition of
the scheme to the Capital Programme, the Executive Director for
Communities to procure and enter into any necessary contracts and
agreements required to implement the scheme on terms and conditions
acceptable to the Executive Director for Resources and subject to
the requirements of the section 278 Highways Act 1980 agreement
with the developer.
