Purpose
This report will seek the following approvals
from Cabinet:
1) The addition of £5.935million BSIP Capital Funding for
2025-26 received from the Department for Transport (DfT) onto the
Capital Programme
2) Agree for the sum of £0.100million (from the capital
funding) to be directed towards providing a vehicle procurement
partnership contribution to Shipston Link
3) Agree the programme of revenue-funded measures for 2025-26
aligned with the Warwickshire BSIP at a total cost of
£5.099million, which will be funded entirely by revenue grant
allocations awarded to the County Council by the DfT

That Cabinet
1.
Recommends to Council the addition to the Capital Programme of
£5.935million BSIP Capital Funding for 2025-26 received from
the Department for Transport (DfT) for the delivery of a programme
of prioritised capital measures taken from the Warwickshire Bus
Service Improvement Plan (BSIP) and the Warwickshire Enhanced
Partnership (EP) Scheme
2.
Approves the programme of capital and revenue funded measures for
2025-26 aligned to the Warwickshire BSIP at a total cost of
£12.262million, which are fully funded by external grant
funding allocations awarded to the County Council by the DfT over a
three-year period (2023-24 to 2025-26)
3.
Approves the continuation of the cross-party working group formed
in July 2021
to support the Council working with bus operators in drawing up the
Warwickshire BSIP and delivering the vision and aspirations set in
the document and authorises the Chief Executive to finalise the
size of the working group and appointments to it in consultation
with group leaders
4.
Delegates to the Executive Director for Communities the entering
into of any contracts and agreements necessary to implement the
resolutions at 1 - 3 above, on terms and conditions acceptable to
the Executive Director for Resources
