The County Council approved the addition of £3.904 million to the Capital Programme on 22 July 2025 for section 278 highways improvement schemes at School Lane Junction with Bowling Green Lane/Church Lane, Exhall. The scheme will introduce signalisation, carriageway widening, and a shared footway and cycleway, fully funded by the developer. The developer is liable for unforeseen changes and overruns, and must provide a bond or cash security.
