That Cabinet:

1)      Approves the Better Care Fund (BCF) Plan for 2026/27 including the plan for resources made available through the additional social care monies, Local Authority Better Care Grant, Disabled Facilities Grant (DFG) and Scheme Level Contributions, and confirms that the mandatory funding contributions and national conditions are met;

2)      Approves the attached Planning Template (Appendix 1 to the report) and Narrative Plan (Appendix 2 to the report), outlining the BCF Plan for 2026/27, to be submitted to the Health and Wellbeing Board on the 13 May 2026 for approval, followed by submission to the Department of Health and Social Care by the 19 May 2026 deadline.

3)      Approves the proposed pooled contribution of £18.669m by the Council to the Better Care Fund Plan for 2026/27 and the plan for resources as set out in paragraph 3.2 of the report;

4)      On receipt of approval of the plan, authorises the Executive Director for Social Care and Health to enter into a partnership agreement under section 75 of the National Health Service Act 2006 (a section 75 agreement), with Coventry and Warwickshire Integrated Care Board (ICB) for delivery of the Better Care Fund Plan for 2026/27, on terms and conditions acceptable to the Executive Director for Resources; and

5)      Approves the County Council continuing as the pooled budget holder for the fund.
