The Cabinet approved the Property Strategy 2026–2028 on 10 September 2026. This strategy sets out the council's direction for managing, rationalising, and investing in its estate over the next three years. The Executive Director for Resources, in consultation with the Portfolio Holder for Finance and Property, will finalise the delivery plan, and progress will be reported through the Council's Estate Masterplanning governance routes.

The Portfolio Holder for Finance and Property approved the commencement of public consultation on Warwickshire County Council’s 2027/28 budget priorities, spending levels, and Council Tax options on 25 September 2026. This decision also approved the draft consultation material, including an explanation of services, for publication.
