The Portfolio Holder for Finance and Property approved the commencement of public consultation on Warwickshire County Council’s 2027/28 budget priorities, spending levels, and Council Tax options. This decision was made on 25/09/2026 and also approved the draft consultation material for publication.

The Resources and Fire & Rescue Overview and Scrutiny Committee considered and commented on the draft Terms of Reference for an assurance review of policies and processes in Warwickshire's libraries and other public spaces. This review was commissioned by the Leader of the Council and will be led by three portfolio holders supported by officers.
