The Cabinet decided to approve the acceptance of Holiday Activity and Food programme grant funding and delegate authority to the Executive Director of Children’s Services. They also approved the procurement and commissioning of a Holiday Activity and Food Programme Coordinator service for delivery periods between 2027 and 2029.

The Leader of West Northamptonshire Council, Cllr Mark Arnull, decided to delegate authority to the Chief Executive to enter into grant agreements for the distribution of South Midlands reserves, approximately £4.5 million, on 29 July 2026.

The Cabinet decided to approve increased expenditure for the Avenue Campus infrastructure and land disposal project, funded from existing Housing Revenue Account budgets. They also noted the progress of land disposals, including Bassett Lowke Hall and the main parcel of land at Avenue Campus.

The Cabinet decided to note the content of the Landlord Services Annual Complaints Report and approve the submission of the Landlord statement and appendices to the Housing Ombudsman. This report details performance in handling complaints for landlord services during 2025/26 and compliance with the Housing Ombudsman's Complaint Handling Code.

The Cabinet decided to confirm their support for the Moving Traffic Enforcement programme and the identified locations where additional enforcement will be undertaken. This follows a public consultation on potential new sites for moving traffic contraventions.

The General Fund Capital Programme includes pipeline schemes subject to further business case development, such as Daventry and Northampton Family hub sites, Northampton School for Girls Extension, Children's Accommodation, Lighting Efficiency, The Obelisk Refurbishment, DfT Local Transport Grant, DfT Bus Service Improvement Plan Grant, Northampton Museum & Art Gallery, and Greyfriars Acquisitions.
