The Strategic Planning Committee deferred the decision on 88 Church Way, Weston Favell, Northampton on 06/08/2026. Reasons for the deferral will be set out in the minutes.

The Non-Strategic Planning Committee approved recommendations for land to the East of Lovett Road, Byfield on 06/08/2026. The Assistant Director for Planning and Development was given delegated powers to grant permission subject to conditions and a S106 agreement. This agreement will secure 12 affordable dwellings, a libraries financial contribution of £3,031, the provision of on-site Local Area of Play and public open space, a 30-year Biodiversity Net Gain Habitat Management and Monitoring Plan, and the maintenance of public open space.

The Planning Policy Committee noted the Housing Land Availability Report 2026 on 04/08/2026. The report identified a 4.3-year supply of deliverable housing sites as at 1st April 2026.
